SANTA CLARITA, Calif. —Gov. Gavin Newsom visited Los Angeles County on Friday to unveil a new laboratory that will significantly ramp up COVID-19 testing in the state as the holiday season approaches.
Right now, tests cost around $150. With the lab is fully operational, tests will decrease to about $30, according to Newsom.
